Egypt The Fascinating Land of Pharaohs

Title
Egypt The Fascinating Land of Pharaohs
Description
A light yellow sky peaks over the edges of two massive pyramids. These pyramids tower over the city below which consists of simple structures and what looks to be a minaret of a mosque on the very left side of the image. In front of the city is a silhouette of a train passing by which runs just behind three palm trees, which due to there position in the utmost foreground, seem to tower even taller that the pyramids. This idealized image of an Egyptian city, one which somewhat resembles Cairo – specifically because of the minaret and domed structure on the left side of the image which look to be a representation of the Al-Azhar Mosque – depicts Egypt as a mysterious place with small cities that are surrounded by the grandest of wonders. The use of muted tones in the city buildings creates a sense of simplicity as well as mystery especially when set against the grandiose and bright background of the powerful pyramids and the towering silhouettes of beautiful palm trees.
