This is a mostly a chronological documentation of my summer 2022 experience working at North Carolina Governor’s School through collage, sketches, instant expressions
An accordian, free form sketchbook, with drawings, written script and mixed materials composed throughout the pages. The majority of the materials are chalk pastel, pencil and collage magazine scraps. The square , 30 spread, handcrafted book is closed by a beaded string with rusted metal locket, found master gym lock, and dried young magnolia blossom. It is stored inside of a Gancube rubrix bag accompanied by a small green child’s figurine. Additionally a linoleum block print of brand NEWstalgic is included within the bag.
