This text is from the day that Roe v. Wade was overturned. I had been living in DC for my internship for about two weeks at that point, and as soon as the news broke everyone stopped working. At that moment, I was getting ready to head over to the Supreme Court building with some of my friends to join the protests. It was scary being there–– there were so many police officers, and I could see the snipers on top of the Court building pointed right at me–– but I had to do it. Just had to keep myself from getting trampled, teargassed, or arrested.
