Contextual Description: Pictures captured by Julie Starliper during the final annual "Apple Butter Day," a large family reunion in which apples harvested from a family orchard are cooked down into a bulk amount of apple butter. An invitation to this event can represent an invitation to the family, and the apple butter made there is distributed amongst all who attend. This event represents both my familial roots and the kind of practices I wish to carry on into my future.
